I have no problem with the product but with LG support: I had a problem starting the machine for the first time. I drove to the store but the sales person could not help. He sent a request to LG Customer Care which responded by text 2 weeks later. Luckily I figured out the problem myself: the dryer was on Control Lock most likely from the installer checking that the machine works. If I would not read the manual and figure the problem out myself would my bed sheets be laying there wet for 2 weeks?

Poor customer experience with LG washer and dryer.

This between Home Depot and LG was one of the worst experiences I have had. I bought a new LG washer and dryer based on the recommendations from the HD salesperson. On delivery the installer ripped off the upper control unit of the washer because he was too much in a hurry Washer returned and redelivered 3 days later. The dryer was basically dead on arrival they didnt check for any heating or codes and the dryer was not heating with a no gas at dryer code. Tech comes out several days later immediatly finds a sensor failure part is on backorder dryer still non functional tech leaves. Replacement part becomes avalable and they schedule tech to come back in a week. After several weeks Dryer is still not functional so we cant do clothes. I wish I could rate this as a zero if I could

Overall great machine

I have been very happy overall with this machine. Looks great I love that it plays a song when its dry so that I know its time to take the clothes out. The only thing I will say is that I have had to use my 3 year extended warranty to fix the control board kept dryer when clothes were already dry. However the technician was great. I wouldve been upset had I not purchased extended warranty.

Defective dryer did not heat vs. Lowes men who installed it told me that it tested O.K. Horrible Lowes customer service: phone calls on-hold 1/2 hr. Lowes required me to hire plumber to check gas pressure check vent plumber verified gas pressure vent were O.K. Demanded Lowes refund return defective dryer. Both Lowes LG refused to reimburse me for large unnecessary plumbers bill.

The dryer stopped working in 2 months.

My dryer broke in 2mo 8/8/2023

My dryer never dried well and after 2 months it stopped working. LG initially told me the problem was my gas line. After hiring a plumber I was told the issue is the dryer. LG sent a repair person out. He ordered three parts. I have been waiting for two weeks for the parts to come in. The customer service team at LG has been rude at times. I have not had a dryer for 3 1/2 weeks and am still waiting. LG should be replacing my dryer if they cant get me parts in a timely fashion.

NO HOW TO OPERATE MANUAL

I purchased a dryer there was no manual with the unit. I asked where I purchased it and they said the new dryers do not come with a manual. They suggested I look on line. No manual there so I called the customer line. I explained I did not get an operators manual. I was told there is NO manual to get. I asked how I was to know how to operate my new dryer. I was told trial and error. This unacceptable from any company. Be sure to check for an operators manual before you buy.

I bought the dryer on the 16th of May and used it for the first time today on May 31st. I live in the country so I needed to change my new gas dryer over to propane and you have to go online and find someplace that sells the part because you can not buy this part at the store where you purchase the dryer then find someone to install this tiny 2 inch part that you have to disassemble the entire dryer to cuz its in the front of the dryer. a access door would be a nice feature why doesnt anyone just make a propane dryer all ready to go? So the feature I like is the less wrinkles feature and the disliked feature is its a dark colored drum inside and no light.

I bought this dryer a few months ago. I would put it on normal and minutes to dry said 63 minutes. My clothes were not dry. They sent a repair man to look at it. I thought the sensor was broke. He told me to put it on normal and turn off the energy saver which lowered the minutes to dry to 41 minutes to my surprise the drive in 30 to 40 minutes which made me very happy so now I love my dryer

Bought a new LG washer and dryer in November. In late February dryer started chirping off and on while running. Called LG who said after 3 phone calls from me because it was made in 2021 it wasnt under warranty any longer so repairs would be on me. Lint Filter - Defective Design

DO NOT DRY ANYTHING with drawstrings. Ive had 4 pair of joggers eaten by where the lint filter is attached to the dryer. There is a noticeable gap between the dryer and the frame of the lint filter holder where the aglet snags and doesnt get released. This generally results in a the drawstring being twisted a good 50 times and b other items in the dryer get tangled into a gordian knot. I would consider this a major design flaw. I wouldnt recommend this dryer to anyone.

After 25 years I replaced my old dryer with the LG DLG7001W. I was a little intimidated at first with all the digital technology but after using it I have to say I am very impressed. This dryer is so quiet and dries your clothes completely in a short amount of time which saves on the gas bill. The dryer is large which accommodates bedding very well. I like the lint filter on the inside as compared to the top in my old dryer. The lint sensor is also helpful when you forget to clean it out. So far I love this dryer and am very happy I chose this model.

I just bought this dryer with the matching washer. I had no idea it didnt have a light inside. Even my 20 year old dryer that I replaced had a light. Had I known this prior I never would have bought it. I wouldnt think this would even be an option. Ive only used it twice so the rating is based on the light at this point. Not happy about that at all. I wished my salesperson would have told me because I never would have purchased a dryer without a light. Very disappointed.

Sensor Dry Doesnt Work Well

Weve had the LG large capacity Sensor Dry Dryer for over a year now--Ive learned to work with it but still dont like it. Mainly the sensory dry doesnt work well. It stops when the socks are still damp or other items. Then I have to dry them separately. Ive called Customer Service and got a very snippy unhelpful woman so I gave that up. Ive learned to mostly use the timed setting then I can also control what heat level when other setting also wont let me control that. And whats up with having to remember to do the wrinkle free setting why isnt that automatic?? Not our best purchase...

Bought dryer last month so far so good. I enjoy that the dryer runs quietly appreciate the melodic alarm when cycle is complete love the wrinkle free setting we had some issues early on with clothes not being fully dried but we just stopped using the sensor settings definitely took some time to understand all the various settings. The biggest downfall of this dryer is theres no light inside and there is some difficulty getting all the lint out of the trap.

Boxed Blister Wrapped in Damaged Condition

The DLG7001W dryer arrived nicely packed in Styrofoam cardboard and blister wrap. When this packaging was opened it was immediately obvious that the dryer was seriously damaged. The entire front control panel was ripped away from its frame and dangling by one edge. The frame edges were bent and warped as if someone had pried the front away from the frame and various wires and connections were dangling. This damage was so extensive that anyone who looked for one second at the item would have seen it. Clearly someone whose job it was to wrap appliances for shipping had simply packaged this damaged appliance without any regard for the problems it would cause when it was delivered in unusable condition. The lack of quality control is appalling.

I bought this during the remodeling of our laundry room. I already have the washer and just added the dryer. The features and consumer report confirms what a great deal this dryer is and add the black friday deals what a deal i got.
